Party Potatoes

Ingredients:

8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
1 carton sour cream, (8 oz.)
garlic salt, to taste
chives, to taste
dried parsley, to taste
butter or margarine, melted
paprika

Directions:

Cook potatoes, covered, in boiling water for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain well; mash potatoes in a minimum mixing bowl. Add cream cheese and next 4 ingredients; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer just until smooth, or if preferred, a little lumpy.

Spoon mixture into a 1-1/2 quart casserole; brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
